2024 Dogwood Queen
Elyn Meredith
The Dogwood Festival Queen is chosen by the Kingsmen, a group of businessmen from Tyler County. Each contestant is judged on poise, beauty and personality through a series of personal interviews with the Kingsmen. The first runner-up to the queen is named the Princess of Tyler County.

Her Majesty Elyn Meredith is the reigning 2024 Tyler County Dogwood Queen. The daughter of Brad and Brandy Meredith, Elyn is a native of Warren, Texas. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, diligently completing her prerequisite courses with plans to enter the nursing program in Spring 2026. In addition to her studies, Elyn works at the Tyler County Courthouse in the Treasurer’s Office.
Elyn considers being crowned the 81st Dogwood Queen a tremendous honor. As her reign comes to an end, she is looking forward to the 82nd Dogwood Festival, where she will join the people of Tyler County in celebrating the arrival of Spring and this cherished annual tradition. She is especially excited to get to know all the young women participating in this year’s festival.
Elyn is very grateful to the festival’s directors and volunteers, whose dedication and hard work make this event possible year after year. She is also deeply thankful to the Kingsmen for entrusting her with this unforgettable opportunity. Representing her community as Dogwood Queen has been a privilege Elyn will always treasure.
